What pelvic health assessment involves

Pelvic symptoms — leakage with cough or exercise, a feeling of heaviness, pelvic pain, or changes after childbirth or menopause — are common, and they deserve a medical conversation rather than a wellness package. At Cayman Medical, a clinician takes a history, discusses what is bothering you, and may recommend examination, physiotherapy, further investigation, or watchful waiting. Options are considered only when they fit your findings. This site does not publish device specifications or a standard course of sessions, because those decisions are individual.

Consultation setting used for pelvic health assessment

Educational topics — not a self-diagnosis checklist

Concerns we commonly discuss

Bladder leakage

Leakage with cough, laugh, sport or urgency can be assessed. Causes differ; treatment is not assumed from an online form.

After childbirth

Pelvic floor recovery after pregnancy may be considered as part of postnatal care. Timing and suitability are clinical decisions.

Midlife and menopause

Hormonal change can affect tissues and pelvic comfort. Gynaecology review may sit alongside menopause care when appropriate.

Pelvic pressure or discomfort

A sense of bulge, pressure or pelvic pain needs examination rather than a marketed “rejuvenation” protocol. We start with assessment.

How care is organised at Cayman Medical

Cayman Pelvic Rejuvenation is the pelvic-focused entry to Cayman Medical’s women’s health service — not a separate spa. You may be directed to specialist gynaecology, pelvic floor physiotherapy in the same clinic group, or a structured restoration programme when a clinician judges that it may help. Related care for incontinence, menopause and pelvic floor physiotherapy is described on Cayman Women’s Health. We do not advertise unnamed chair devices or sexual-performance packages on this site.

From enquiry to a plan

Treatment is never assumed at step one.

1

Enquiry

Tell us what you would like reviewed. This is a request for a conversation, not a booked procedure.

2

Consultation

A clinician reviews history, symptoms and questions, and explains what pelvic assessment can and cannot reasonably address.

3

Examination and options

If examination or further tests are appropriate, they are discussed first. A plan — or a recommendation not to proceed with a given option — follows the findings.

4

Coordinated care

Where physiotherapy, menopause care or another Cayman Medical service is a better fit, we say so rather than stretching pelvic “rejuvenation” beyond the evidence we will put on a public page.

5

Review

Follow-up is used to discuss how you are, whether further visits are considered, or whether another pathway is more honest.
